Rider Regulations
To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone — including our horses — please read and follow the regulations below carefully:
Safety First
Helmets are mandatory and provided for all riders.
Always listen to and follow your guide’s instructions during the ride.
Do not attempt to pass or overtake other riders unless instructed by the guide.
Keep both hands on the reins unless otherwise advised.
Rider Responsibility
Riders must be at least 12 years old for regular tours (contact us for exceptions).
Riders must be at least 15 years old for Camping & Ride Roam Tours (contact us for exceptions).
Maximum rider weight is 85 kg (185 lbs) to ensure horse welfare.
Riders must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries before the ride.
Riders must be in good physical condition and not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
If alcohol is consumed during lunch breaks or camp evenings, you do so at your own responsibility.
Riders must be fully alert and in control when handling or riding horses.
The guide reserves the right to deny participation or remove any rider from the tour if safety is compromised.
Rider Ability & Fitness
You must have an appropriate riding level, physical fitness, and body weight to participate in our tours.
If you’re unsure whether a tour is suitable for you, please inquire before booking.
Respect for Horses
Treat the horses with kindness — no shouting, kicking, or pulling the reins aggressively.
Never feed the horses without permission.
Do not run or gallop the horses unless instructed — our rides are at a controlled pace for safety and terrain
Photos & Personal Items
You may take photos during breaks, but keep your phone/camera safely secured while riding.
We are not responsible for any lost or damaged personal belongings during the ride.
Backpacks are not allowed while riding; we can store them securely at the ranch or provide saddle bags when possible.
Environmental Respect
Do not litter or damage natural surroundings.
Stay on designated trails to protect the fragile landscape of Cappadocia.
Accommodation & Tour Confirmation (Camping & Ride Roam Tours)
Hotel rooms will be shared (2–4 people). A private room (1 person) is available upon request for an additional fee.
Tours are confirmed with a minimum of 2 riders. If not confirmed by the departure date, the tour may proceed with a supplemental fee
Punctuality & Cancellation
Arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour time for preparation and safety briefing.
Cancellations or changes for regular tour must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Changes of date for Camping & Ride Roam Tours must be made at least 2 months in advance
Booking, Payment & Cancellation
Direct bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable 35% deposit.
For Camping & Ride Roam Tours - the balance is due one month before departure.
Payments are non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected changes.
Insurance Requirement
All riders must have valid travel and repatriation insurance that covers horseback riding abroad.
Insurance details must be provided upon booking.
You are responsible for ensuring your policy includes horseback riding as an activity.
